creating positive ripples in the community, a hand up, a hand out, a connection, a voice, and a
support system.
How can you make a ripple?
• Lead by example
• Extend your hands to someone or thing, we all stand on someone’s shoulders
• Give - time, money, advice, love, a hug, and the list is endless.
• Advocate – for justice and peace
• Care – show it in all you do
• Y – The letter resembles a person with outstretched arms. Why not you?
A good ripple improves our LEGACY.
Examples of SPBM ripples:
1. Fostered Mentoring relationships with ten individuals
2. Hosted two career education workshops
3. Hosted two men connection sessions
4. Provided job training for several young men
